Review of Jaws: The Revenge (1987) by Nett F — 04 Jan 2009

I was obsessed with this movie when it came out. I had an inflatable promo shark that hung from my ceiling, cut out magazine ads, etc. I loved it and it added Michael Caine to one of my favorite male actors.

But as I rewatch the movie as an adult, I realized that the screenplay was crap. The special effects suck... The machanical shark at Universal is better than what we see on the screen. The storyline was corny and unbelievable, I could have done better.

But because it is part of the JAWS stable, you gotta love it. Or do I???
