Review of Jaws: The Revenge (1987) by Richard R — 22 Jun 2009
Reprehensible addition to a near-dead franchise which incredibly managed to acquire the services of the seasoned Michael Caine, the respected Lorraine Gray and promising young actor/director from a film family Mario Van Peebles.
I try to be as gentle as possible when having to review a film which I really did not enjoy but, given the five star quality of the original, this film really should not have been made. Fortunately it did not destroy the careers of the stars.
A couple of decent scenes cannot save it.
