Review of Jaws: The Revenge (1987) by Cody M — 05 Jul 2010
Routine, suspense-less third sequel to the shark attack franchise once again has the luckless Brody family (headed by Lorraine Gary from the original two films) are once again tormented by a marauding great white shark.
Not the absolute disaster it is often reported to be (number 3 is a worse film), but no far off from it, the flick features dulled performances from a decent cast and has a distinct made-for-TV vibe about it.
Hints of supernatural elements (namely Gary's seemingly psychic connection to the shark) add only confusion.
