Review of Jaws: The Revenge (1987) by Steve J — 31 May 2014
After the pile of crap that was Jaws 3-D, Universal Pictures one-upped (or is it one-downed?) themselves by proving they could make a film even worse than that one. This is without a doubt one of the very worst films ever released by a major studio.
The plot: after murdering the youngest son of now-dead Chief Brody (hero of the first two films in the franchise), a vengeful great white shark FOLLOWS LORRAINE GARY TO THE BAHAMAS in order to get revenge on her by killing off her family.
The idea that someone who has a terror of the water mourning the death of a loved one by shark attack would head to the Bahamas is the least idiotic thing about this film. It's worth a look, because unintentionally hilarious.
That's about it.
