Relocating the action to a SeaWorld complex and featuring Chief Brody's son as the main character, it's pretty much a chain of shark attacks, but lacks Steven Spielberg's atmospheric direction of the first film.
Perhaps that's because it relies heavily on the 3D gimmick, which isn't done very well.
