Review of Jaws 3-D (1983) by Al M — 19 Sep 2010
Jaws 3 is a terrible film, but nonetheless it also a damned entertaining one. Whereas Jaws II maintained the cast of the original Speilberg clasic, Jaws 3 loses everyone and starts over anew with a fresh set of shark attacks at a Seaworld facility that is just about to open.
Originally released in 3D, Jaws 3 becomes even more hilarious today when the film is viewed without 3D effects because the moments are just so cheesy and awful. Featuring hilariously terrible performances from Dennis Quaid, Louis Gossett Jr.
, and Lea Thompson, Jaws 3 is memorable on for its stupidity. It receives two stars solely because it is so bad that it becomes enjoyable in its own campy kind of way.
