As far as schlock goes, this is pretty good, especially in 3D. This incarnation of the shark is on King Kong-type scale, which means the movie is never really scary, and with characters this thin, you're just rooting for the fish to gobble people up.
Not that this is a bad thing. Nice ending for the shark, too.
