Review of Jaws 2 (1978) by Tom C — 04 Oct 2009
Childhood favorite that I still enjoyed this time around. Roy Schieder is very good in this, and the film has a great music score, superb visual touches, and a tone that alternates from bright to dark.
That being said the film has some problems, including annoying teenagers (although the teens in 80s slashers are much worse) and a shark that is either the ultimate badass or very pathetic. The later point is what really drags this film down.
one thing is certain, the squels.
