Jaws is easily one of the greatest movies ever made. When this movie came out in 1975, it made people afraid to go swim in the ocean. Jaws is based off Peter Benchley's book and directed by Steven Spielberg.

The film stars Roy Scheider, Richard Dreyfuss, and Robert Shaw. Jaws is a movie that gets better everytime I see it and is one of my favorite movies ever. Easily the best thing about this movie are the characters.

They are very likable and you don't want them to be eaten by the shark. Speaking of the shark, you don't see the shark that much mostly because the mechanical shark would not work most of the time, but Spielberg was careful not to show too much of the shark.

The way you can tell that the shark is around is the music by John Williams. John Williams music is absolutely fantastic and it is one of the best scores for a movie ever.I think my favorite scene from Jaws is when Chief Brody, Quint, and Hooper are talking to each other and they show their scars and Quint talks about a bone chilling story and then they sing and suddenly the shark attacks the boat.

Spielberg has said that is his favorite scene from Jaws and every scene is fantastic. Jaws is truly my favorite horror movie and one of my favorite movies ever.
