A classic and modern American cinema and reigning king of summer blockbuster. Jaws' success is mainly due to suspense, drama and comedy. It also not about a killer white shark, it has real human characters that make the audience care about.
Thanks to Steven Speilberg masterful direction and John William menacing score.
