Review of Jaws (1975) by Matthew S — 31 May 2015
A film so iconic it has firmly worked its way into our collective subconscious. Several generations of people will never swim in the ocean without at least a tinge of fear based on Spielberg's accomplished monster movie.
It remains a scary, intense and incredibly entertaining movie. This is probably the best monster movie ever made --- and it features one of the most effectively unnerving musical scores in cinematic history.
