Review of Jaws (1975) by Shayan S — 23 Jun 2015
Jaws was a film that plagued as many set and production problems like the first Star Wars movie, that Spielberg ultimately had to make a decision to cut down and reduce the animatronic shark. Well, 40 years later proves that the call was all worth it, as audiences and critics were terrified to go back in the water.
Jaws is without a doubt one of Spielberg's classics thanks to its well acted cast, tensioned suspense, gruesome and offscreen death scenes, a final and memorable act, and of course the always impressive great white: Jaws.
No wonder after forty years, people still come back to watch and revisit the film that made sharks SCARY AS HELL.
