Review of Jaws (1975) by Petros T — 25 Nov 2013
With firm direction, a very good soundtrack, a fine cast from which Richard Dreyfuss stands out, good laughs and even greater terror, "Jaws" is epic. The sight of people swimming and playing by the sea has never been more terrifying - and probably never will.
A study on fear, panic and ignorance, a story of courage, idiocy and self-awareness but also a commentary on sacrificing safety for profit. A classic movie, innovative from a technical aspect and thought-provoking in terms of storytelling.
