Review of Jawbreaker (1999) by Aaron C — 02 Oct 2009
A movie trying to be the spiritual successor to Heathers but becomes cliche and bogged down. I think this is just a type of movie you have to be into from the beginning to enjoy it. Admittedly, as soon as I saw Rose McGowan I was on board.
She's great in this, playing up the classic high school bitch that she may have well actually been. Also, it's nice as always to see the lovely Pam Grier make an apperance. It's not a bad movie, but I wouldn't pay too much attention to it.
Nice to, maybe, have on in the background while you're doing something else.
