Review of Jason X (2001) by Al M — 11 Feb 2009
If Jason Goes to Hell had not quite managed to jump the shark, Jason X blasts over without ever looking back. Cryogenically frozen and reawoken in the 25th Century, Jason battles androids and engages with various futuristic technology as he slashes his way through the hot students aboard a teaching spaceship.
Jason X blends Star Trek, Alien, and Friday the 13th into a bizarrely, hilarious mixture that for some reason I love. Awful on nearly every level, Jason X is one of those films you watch because it is so bad that its loads of fun.
