Laughably awful, I mean it's Jason in space for crying out loud but like instalment 6 the enjoyable parts are where it doesn't take itselt too seriously. It's still a weird blend of Star Trek, Alien and horror but it's enjoyable tosh rather than godawful rubbish which some of the other entries have been.
