Review of Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday (1993) by Richard L — 13 Jun 2008

Part 9 is better than Part 8 (it could hardly be worse), but it's still very bad save for the first ten minutes. The remainder of the movie is highly disappointing. This installment of the serie includes components from far-west (the bounty hunter) and fantasy movies (Jason's evil spirit, the black magic book, the dagger, long-lost family ties having "magical" properties).

There also seems to be some influence from the Terminator movies. The result is a confusing, clumsy patchwork that has no continuity or purpose whatsoever.
