"The Final Friday" - The same claim they made for part 4, yet somehow another two movies come after this one! Although not the nadir of the series, part 9 is certainly one of the lowest points.
Despite some enjoyable references to other horror series like Creepshow, Evil Dead, and A Nightmare on Elm Street the entire story is painfully bad, as is the acting. Not good as a Friday film or as a stand-alone horror movie, just nauseatingly violent and completely uninteresting.
