You know, even in a series of not-great movies, this movie is not great. I'm pretty easy to please when it comes to C-grade horror and I enjoyed just about all of this movie's eight predecessors, but JGTH just meanders about needlessly for an hour and twenty minutes in the realm of unscary, unfunny horror-comedy before finally concluding with a slow-paced showdown between Vorhees and a couple of characters. The bizarre connection between this movie and both the Evil Dead and Nightmare on Elm Street series is also kind of strange.
In other words, it's no good.
