Review of Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday (1993) by Chris R — 04 Sep 2013
When I first saw the trailer to this film at age 10 in a video store, It looked like the best thing ever. I was a dumb kid and this is one dumb movie. The main problem with the film is somehow, New Line Cinema was able to take the 'Friday the 13th' franchise to the most absurd heights possible by essentially making Jason Voorhees a demon worm that possesses people and eventually he goes to Hell.
I really hate to say this, but 'Jason X' is really not the worst the franchise can reach, 'Jason Goes To Hell' wins that prize hands down. If you have to absolutely watch every 'Friday' film possible, then I guess nothing I say will stop you from watching this junk.
Maybe for some unknown reason you like to watch crappy horror films (unfortunately that's me...) again, my review won't stop you. All I can tell you, is that I warned you.
