Review of Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday (1993) by Kevin R — 06 Dec 2012
Until you kill him it will never be over.
Jason Voorheese is baited and pounced on by the secret service and blown to pieces; however, his heart remains beating and the super natural elements that keep him ticking find a way to take the essence of Jason and allow it to survive in others. Jason's existence will continue until a member of the Voorheese family strikes him down.
"Go to the store room and make a crib out of a box or something.".
Adam Marcus, director of Let it Snow, Conspiracy, and the upcoming I Walked with a Zombie, delivers Jason Goes to Hell. The storyline for this picture is awful and the kill scenes are mediocre at best. The cast delivers below average performances and includes Kane Hodder, Erin Gray, Steven Williams, John LeMay, and Richard Grant.
"Honey, watch the willy.".
This is by far the worst Friday the 13th picture I have seen to date; although, I haven't seen Jason X yet. There wasn't one redeeming aspect of this film and the super natural elements were ridiculous (more than usual). Overall, I strongly recommend skipping this picture, even if you're a diehard Friday the 13th fan.
"I'm gonna kill Jason Voorheese and I need you to help me.".
Grade: F.
