This movie has no ties to the actual first 8 parts..In the first 8 parts it was said Jason was an only child yet in this he had a sister..One of the actors in this movie is also in the Friday the 13th series which has no connection to the movie itself but in this movie it has an ironic twist to make you think other wise.

.Another familiar face make a short cameo appearance at the end of the movie but you need to see it for yourself!!
