Review of Jason Bourne (2016) by Thomas P — 20 Aug 2016
Pensive tension, creative action sequences, and minimal talking - a bit familiar, tho this should have been Gold within the Bourne franchise.
So despite its good qualities, there is a low level revelation about half way in that youve seen bits of this story before, no matter how new and different the action and stunts.
Enjoyable - absolutely.
The chase scenes have stunning moments, and there is a joy in seeing Matt Damon, an old friend now via the Bourne role.
Its worthy.
By the end, having enjoyed most of it, you realize it could have been better.
