Review of Jason Bourne (2016) by Marcmyworks — 01 Aug 2016
Jason Bourne recaptures some of the lost magic in The Bourne Film series. Matt Damon and Alicia Vikander do an impressive job creating an interesting film however there seems to be a lot of jumps in the plot and story. There are some unanswered questions in Jason Bourne such as why is Agent Heather Lee (Vikander) so interested in Bourne? What is her connection? Why is the CIA restarting an assassins league project after it publicly released the first time? Why does the CIA care so much about an internet company that they are willing to assassinate its head?
At times it feels like the Social Network mixed in with Die Hard but overall the action, acting and shirtless Matt Damon scenes make it worth while.
