Review of Jason Bourne (2016) by Evan D — 29 Dec 2016

This next chapter of the Jason Bourne franchise is a good action film but it fails to bring the same punch and adrenaline the first episodes did back then. It's a solid thriller, and Matt Damon is as compelling as ever, nevertheless, for whatever reasons, the alchemy does't take as much and I found myself a little pushed aside by the lack of emotional connection we end up with, throughout the film.

But that's a personal opinion and someone else may completely disagree, which I respect. As it is the film failed to convince me of it's necessity, but simply appeared like another film destined to the hard core fans of the franchise eager to see another adventure of their favorite amnesiac super spy.

It's as good as any, or as average as any... depends the way you look at the glass.
