Review of Jason Bourne (2016) by William James S — 19 May 2017
The first hour of this film is entertaining and exciting because it deals mostly with the intrigue surrounding intense scenes of espionage, which are well acted and directed. Unfortunately, the film takes a turn into the world of Zuckerberg style social media (sort of a mix of television shows such as "Silicon Valley" and "The Blacklist"), which sort of draws it down.
Matt Damon is always good in the role of Bourne, and it seems like he never ages even when his face is covered with battle wounds. This is not a bad movie but it's certainly not the best of a now well fed series.
