Matt Damon is Bourne again returning for another instalment of the spy series about a CIA operative gone rogue trying to uncover the truth about his past whilst being hunted down by the agency.

Having been 'off grid' Bourne is drawn back into the firing line after former intelligence officer and old ally, Nicky Parsons (Julia Stiles), lets him in about another secret she's found out about his past.

There are three new central characters in this fifth episode, the third to be directed by Paul Greengrass: Robert Dewey (Tommy Lee Jones) the head of CIA, Heather Lee (Alicia Vikander) his protégée and hitman (Vincent Cassel) chasing down Bourne; with the action taking place in Athens, London and Las Vegas.

This direct sequel to The Bourne Ultimatum, with a post Snowdon backdrop, is all very familiar; the jaw dropping stunts, frenetic camerawork and thrilling espionage; but it's still an entertaining film.
