(2005) Jarhead.
WAR.
I agree with the reviewers that this film would seem quite long but they're alot of muisconceptions about the war of Persain Gulf! In this case it's this infantile group which joined the Marines because they assumed they'd get a piece of the action and after the film was over it kind of seems that this film may deter people from joining the army altogether- especially to be a trained sniper. Aside from joining as a marine sniper would also result in alot of negative happenings affecting much family and friends upon coming at home. This is a negative point of view of people fighting on the front lines and does seem a little too far-fetch since they're alot of men killed in action but is based on one man's real life experiences taken from a book written by Anthony Swafford's best selling book about his pessimistic experieces, but I highly doubt that all his experiences joining the mariens are all this negative for the rest of the way and on other wars!
3 out of 4.
