I liked Sam Mendes' American Beauty and I liked this war movie as well. I do have problems with Vietnam movies and military movies in general because I don't see the necessity of any army- wherever, whenever.
But this was the first movie about the Gulf War I watched and it was really well done. It was very emotional but not too much. Worth watching!
