I really love this Movie. The Story is really good and shows us the Storys of one Platoon of Soldiers who are taking part in the Operation Desert Shield and later Desert Storm. I like that there are three parts in this Movie.

First Part is the Training in the Camp were Swoff comes to the Marines and learns his stuff. The Second Part is the long wait for a mission in Irak were the Soldiers are just hanging around an making nothing.

The Third Part is the Chase of the Irak Soldiers and the hope for Swoff to get his first kill. The Acting is pure gold. Gyllenhaal is pefect for the role of Swafford and Jamie Fox is Perfect for the role of his Leader.

But the other Actors are fitting too. The Atmosphere is perfect you understand why they are feeling bad and you see how they turn crazy every day they are there. The Action is very few but well maid. The Only bad thing about this Movie is at the Same time an important Story Element.

There are too less Shootings in it for an War Movie. Till The End they never get to shoot at something. That can get boring. But this is just a little bad thing all in all the Movie is really good and very entertaining.
