Review of Jane Got a Gun (2015) by Scott G — 03 Feb 2016

This movie was never going to be great given its production problems however I was still hoping for Jane Got a Gun to surprise me. Unfortunately this film is very uneventful and its pacing doesn't help. It's a shorter film in comparison to most movies now a days running at roughly one hour and thirty seven minutes but it feels a lot longer and you'll feel this film drag for every second it's on the screen. The overuse of flashbacks is very lazy on a story telling standpoint.

This film wasn't a total disaster though which is definitely something worth noting because this film could've been a lot worse based on its production troubles. This film had some good ideas that just weren't fleshed out well enough and its a shame because this movie could've been a whole lot better than the final product we got.
