A solid adaptation of the book. great work by fassbender and wasikowska here. at first I was a bit unsold by wasikowska's age here, but she does well here opposite the formiddable fassbender. a nice, very subtle and emotional score, and the final sequence in the movie is very well done.
not sure this movie really needed the flashback format though...
