Review of Jane Eyre (2011) by Caroline D — 16 Sep 2011

I don't what it was about this movie that I just didn't like, Mia Wasikowska and Michael Fassbender were both really good, but you never got the sense that they had this great romance between them.

Telling the story with flashbacks also didn't help and at the end of the film when you should be feeling upbeat as one of romantic literatures greatest couples finally can be with one another I just had a feeling of slight depression.

Disappointing as I have been looking forward to this film for months.
