Review of Jane Eyre (2011) by Jenna G — 12 Oct 2011
What can I say about Jane Eyre other than the beautiful cinematography and the fantastic costumes? Uhmm. Hmm. Well, Mia Wasikowska and Michael Fassbender did have really good chemistry, BUT I didn't see it until later on in the film.
I do think that the story was somewhat rushed to prevent a long running time, or at least it felt that way to me. But still, I couldn't stop watching .. I wanted to see what happened. It was also pretty creepy at times, and Dame Judi Dench is always a pleasure to watch.
Overall, Jane Eyre was a dark love story that I really enjoyed.
