Jane Eyre is one of my top five favourite books of all time. This film was so beautiful to look at; however it seemed like an overview of the story, not even an adaptation that attempts to take the time to build it's characters.
It felt like a film meant for fans of Jane Eyre, not a film that would bring a new audience along her journey. Wonderfully and realistically casted.
