Review of Jane Eyre (2011) by Catherine R — 14 Feb 2012
There's a lot of focus on the emotional parts of the story - and they are played very well. I can't fault Mia Wasikowska's performance at all. She makes an excellent Jane and it's good to see Jane portrayed as plain as she is supposed to be.
However, the film glosses over important parts of the story, seemingly to be able to play out another emotional scene, and the climax is far too rushed.
