Review of Jane Eyre (2011) by Diane J — 30 May 2012
A beautiful set design, great acting, follows a solid story line, yet betrayes the original spark made by the book totally. If you ever stopped and spent a few hours of your time every day to read this book you would see that this movie is nothing special, it's an insult.
With poor direction scenes such as when they find Bertha, Mr. Roochesters' crazy wife make the book look a joke. They knew exactly what sort of movie they could produce which is why they try covering up the many faults on their part with beautiful sets and costumes.
