Review of Jamesy Boy (2014) by Ryan K — 07 Jan 2014
Emotions fall short, there is nothing extremely unique about Jamesy. Truthfully he was just a stupid kid with empty minded views of manhood and a hatred for authority, using poverty to fuel his anger towards the world.
Scrambling the timeline was a poor choice. The element of writing, keeping track of feelings during tough times is extremely overused but is the only thing that sticks out in this flick. Louise Parker does a fine job at the caring mother on her last nerve.
