Review of James and the Giant Peach (1996) by Zack H — 25 Jun 2010
Really loved it many years ago, and if I watch it again I know it will still hold up. The animation was so inventive, and the songs are still with me today. The story is a very strong one: James longs to escape from a horrible pair of Aunts who are verbally abusive.
The fantasy of escaping via a Giant Peach captivating me as a kid, and it's still a great movie for any kid to watch (adults too).
