Really not as good as I remembered it being from childhood. Aside from that, it's also just not that good. I really did not like that child actor. I also really didn't like the character designs.
They could've been done much better. The aunts were supposed to be squashed to death by the peach in the beginning. Anyway, I'll hope for a remake. And next time get a kid who can sing, act, and pronounce his freakin' 'r's.
