Review of James and the Giant Peach (1996) by Shane Z — 26 Nov 2013
"James & the giant peach is a terrific achievement of live action and stop-motion animation" tells the story of little James who dreams of going to New York but can't because of his two strict aunts making him work and be miserable, he eventually meets a man who will give him his dream by giving him green worms and they get into a peach that's growing bigger and bigger and he eats one and than enters the peach and becomes animated and meets giant stop-motion animated insects: a spider, ladybug, cockroach, centipede, and a worm! and they all travel to go to New York city.
while to me I don't think its not as good as The Nightmare Before Christmas but it is one of Tim Burton's best produced films and it is a extraordinary adventure that I had fun with and I felt I didn't want it to stop.
