Review of James and the Giant Peach (1996) by Dalton T — 15 Dec 2018
I absolutely loved this movie as a kid, and I certainly remember the joy and excitement I got from it. Little did I know it at first but I later found out that it was based on the Roald Dahl book of the same.
With Disney working their magic with the help of Tim Burton and some of the creators of "The Nightmare Before Christmas", along with some of the people who gave us "Toy Story" (specifically storyman Joe Ranft and music and songs by Randy Newman), "James and the Giant Peach" is a deliciously "peachy" film to enjoy, and a hilarious one at that; I totally recommend it.
Check it out and see for yourself.
