Review of Jakob the Liar (1999) by Patrick R — 08 Dec 2007

An extremely emotional and thought-provoking film. Accurately portrays life in the Polish Ghettos and the conditions they were subjective to under Hitler's instruction. An incredible plot based on the question, is it ok to lie if you provide hope and happiness for others?? There is absolutely no possible way I can fault this film, everything, from Williams' fantastic accent to the brilliant acting of the entire cast, was perfect.

It definately leaves an impression on your conscience as to how this was allowed to happen, and how people could have put others through such treatment. 5 stars without a shadow of a doubt!
