Review of Jakob the Liar (1999) by Millo T — 18 Jul 2010
Movie about jews in the holocaust (a very repetitive issue, however, this movie gets good things although that), in some aspects similar to Beningni´s style by speaking about the power of illusion and hope, although it also shows a pesimistic side that gives the movie a too grey colour.
Not brilliant movie, but makes the effort to be funny at the same time that deeper, some good actings, and although some characters are too much stereotypical, is a story which is interesting enough to watch.
Sweetsour feelings, at the end.
