Review of Jailhouse Rock (1957) by Christopher B — 12 Mar 2018

A rather mediocre early Rock 'n Roll industry tale which is brightened by a couple of Elvis songs and a solid performance by the late judy Tyler. In retrospect it seems strange that Elvis was allowed to play a character with such a large chip on his shoulder, but perhaps that fed into his early persona.
