Review of Jacob's Ladder (1990) by Paul P — 20 May 2009
The ending is pretty bad. You come all this way and it was a big letdown. But its still insanely good before the end. I've always heard praise about Adrian Lyne and never understood it, well I get it now.
There are scenes of authentic horror and suspense. Not to mention the movie is eerie from the jump and never lets go. All the performances are good, Tim Robbins is very believable and in this material it makes a world of difference.
