Review of Jacob's Ladder (1990) by Cory B — 03 Oct 2008
Truly terrifying. A true pioneer in turns of quick camera shots and fast, disturbing images set to a intermitent groan. These days, that technique is cliched and passe, due to it being used in every Japanese horror remake and the like in today's films.
In 1990, 'Ladder' was the scariest and the best, in terms of psychological horror. A must see thrill ride that will keep you guessing.
