Review of Jacob's Ladder (1990) by Jez M — 02 Jan 2013
A nice mix of Lynchiania and Ambrose Bierce's 'Occurence at Owl Creek Bridge', this introduced Tim Robbins to the world and he carries the movie very well. The scene in the abbatoir/mental asylum is especially memorable and some of the little macabre visual flashes are brilliant.
A fine film that still stands up well.
