Review of Jacob's Ladder (1942) by Callum B — 28 Feb 2009

More like jacob's boring. started off fairly cool, with a pretty creepy subway scene, then spiralled down into an overly long yawnfest.

It's a shame, the acting was pretty good and the general concept wasn't terrible, but I was just horribly bored and unimpressed. I suspect that had I seen this 15, 20 years ago, it might have had a much greater impact, but for me, now, it wasn't particularly scary, suspenseful or thought-provoking.
