Review of Jacob's Ladder (1942) by Andrew W — 04 Jan 2011
Jacob's Ladder is a movie that was way ahead of its time. It truly offers everything a psychological movie should offer. It makes you think, keeps you on the edge of your seat, and has insightful undertones that relate to the underlying meaning of the film.
In the end we are left with a highly disturbing movie, possibly one of the most disturbing films ever made. Also Jacob's Ladder may have one of the most iconic horror scenes ever made with the hospital scene.
I highly recommend seeing Jacob's Ladder at least once, you won't regret it.
